When It Rains On the Strand

Wet weather occurs frequently during our winters. Start by having your car tires properly inflated. During sloppy conditions, avoid puddles. Drive slowly, especially on curves. Steer and brake with a light touch (pretend an egg lies just under your accelerator). When you need to stop or slow, start before you usually do, first by removing your foot from the accelerator. Avoid hard braking. In skidding, steer in the direction you want the front to go.
