Lyrids Meteor Shower in April

If you take evening strolls outside during your April stay here, look especially toward the east for the Lyrids Meteors, a "shower" effect of stars. Though notoriously unpredictable, this year the peak is expected around April 22nd, especially right before dawn. If you miss that show, check the sky on May 5-7 for the Eta Aquarids Meteors. Fans say the best way to view is to get a chair, lie back, and wait.
