Fishing Report for April

As the surrounding air temperature increases, gradually the fresh water temperatures will equalize with ocean water, making it easier to catch fish. Black seabass are still plentiful in the reefs now, and with them you can find triggerfish, white grunt, and sheephead fish, all good for eating. Anglers off shore at the Atlantic Ledge caught bonito lately, and soon those fish will move closer to shore where people can catch them from the pier and land.
