Date Published: Wed, Jun 9th 2010, 9:12
Called Cycle to the Sea, this group of resolute bicyclists stayed at Prince from April 24 to 27. The group raises funds and awareness for adaptive sports, the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program (ASAP). Some pedal without arms or sight. The ride is held every spring and involves athletes with some physical disabilities, cycling with handcycles and/or tandem bikes. The event helps sustain a low-cost program for youth and adults with physical challenges.
