Enjoying August on the Ocean

Prince Resort lies at the water’s edge, right at the front of The Cherry Grove Pier. How easy to wander out to the pier’s gazebo and climb to the viewing deck for an hour or so of pondering the universe, especially when you can see some of the universe from that very spot. Warm August mornings feature clear and sharply defined colors until the afternoon heats up, sending a blanket of haze over the horizon.
