2009 Summer Storms

For the past two weekends, named storms have blown up from the south, along the Atlantic east coast, and back out to sea in the north. While experts are lowering their expectations of storms this year because of El Niño’s calming effects, we have no guarantee for a quieter than normal 2009 season, so keep an eye out through November. Storms bring beauty, as well as concern. Watch for rip current conditions.
