Bald Head Island Golf Course

Located about an hour and a half north of The Grand Strand, plus a ferry ride across the channel, Bald Head Island is home to relaxed residents, gorgeous dwellings, and content wildlife who bask in a protected environment. The island also features a premier golf course. However, beginning November 1st, it will be closed to "re-naturalize" until May, 2010. Nevertheless, it's worth the ferry ride over to the island to take a look.
