What's Biting Out There?

Posted Wed, Jul 15th 2009, 4:59

With the water temperature in the 80's, both fish and swimmers are happy. King mackerel continue to bite at The Cherry Grove Pier over the past several weeks, plus their more green-backed cousin the Spanish mackerel, grouper, sharks, and amberjack, to name a few. One week yielded 13 kings, though they are more prevalent in 90 feet of water! Different size limits for each, though, so look for the black spot to determine Spanish mackerel!
