McLean Park's Halloween Fun

If you enjoy Halloween, come to McLean Park after the free “Endless Summer Festival” at Main Street. The Howl-O-Scream event is only blocks away in North Myrtle Beach. There, just after dark you can enjoy scary things from 5 PM to 8 PM: trick-or-treating, hay rides, music, pumpkins, marshmallow roasting, and much more. Free admission. Information at 843.280.5570.

Prince's Pool

In Tower 1 (oceanfront) at Prince Resort the pools are heated, effective October 19th. That means that if you sacrificed your beach vacation because you ran out of warm-weather months in 2009, you can pull out the calculator once again and reconsider. Off-season offers much lower prices. We have specials, discounts, and lots of fun on everything from seasonal parties to accommodations to meals and entertainment. Besides, the view is out of this world

Beach Music Concert, Free and Fun

Join us on October 31st at the Horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach for the FREE beach music concert called The Endless Summer Festival. The fun starts at 9 with arts, crafts and food vendors, large children’s area, and classic car show. Then, sit back in your lawn chair starting at noon for live entertainment by Sea Cruz, The Catalinas and, the headliner, The Fantastic Shakers! Prince is one of the sponsors, so come on down!

Mini-Golf Championships

Recently the Grand Strand hosted the Masters National ProMiniGolf Championship for as many as 90 people, some from all over the world: Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and eight people from Japan. Though rules stipulate that players must be a member of the U. S. ProMiniGolf Associating, they may be men, women, and/or children. Ages range from youth to retirees, and why not when first place pays $3,000!

Bald Head Island Golf Course

Located about an hour and a half north of The Grand Strand, plus a ferry ride across the channel, Bald Head Island is home to relaxed residents, gorgeous dwellings, and content wildlife who bask in a protected environment. The island also features a premier golf course. However, beginning November 1st, it will be closed to “re-naturalize” until May, 2010. Nevertheless, it’s worth the ferry ride over to the island to take a look.
