Family-Friendly Fall Events Happening in North Myrtle Beach. On Saturday, October 4th, join us for a fun-filled weekend at the Harvest Home Festival with your family. Here, you will be able to take part in building a scarecrow, take a wagon hayride, enjoy live entertainment, and so much more! This festival is included with your garden admission and runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on October 4th & October 5th, 2025. One of the most incredible events happening at Thompson Farm in Conway is the Halloween Candy Drop. They had so much fun during Easter that they decided to bring the Helicopter Candy Drop to the fall. This year, on Saturday, October 25th, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Halloween Helicopter Candy Drop on the Farm will take place. They will also host another event on Sunday, October 26th, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Take advantage of the Halloween goodies, and see which part of the day was your favorite. If you are on vacation during the week of Halloween, then don't miss these fun events. You can trick or treat at several locations on Thursday, October 31st. If you'd like to stay close to North Myrtle Beach, heading to Barefoot Landing will be where you want to be. Beginning at 5 pm, you and your family are invited to visit shops and restaurants to trick or treat, ending at 7 pm. If you'd like to try other places, head to The Market Common and Broadway at the Beach to take advantage of getting treats for your kids.
